Dr. Jo Buyske is chief of surgery and director of minimally invasive surgery at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and an elected member of the American Board of Surgery, one of the highest honors for an academic surgeon in this country. In 2003 I had a serious gallbladder condition and Dr. Buyske removed it laparoscopically. My procedure was pretty involved and I feel I was extremely lucky to have Dr. Buyske as my surgeon.
