A message from Franca Riccardi, Director of the America Italy Society.
The summer period at the Italian language school will start on May 7th, 2007. Our school offers a wide selection of courses (9 different levels) and our teachers - a young and enthusiastic group - are all native speakers who have obtained their degrees at Italian universities.
The school is also sponsoring the Parliamo Italiano program. Students will spend a week in Italy for full immersion sessions of Italian along with guided tours.
In spring 2007 the Society will host a number of exiting initiatives:
- The investment firm Charles Schwab and Co. – Will discuss the Italian Market. Tuesday, May 8 at 6 pm. Reading Room of the Racquet Club.
- Gabriella Romani on "Views of Italy: Nineteenth-Century Women Writers, Readers, and the Making of Italy”. Tuesday, May 22 at 5:15 pm reception (cash bar), 6 pm to 7 pm program. Racquet Club. Free admission.
